The Reelers
The Reelers are a modern Celtic rock band from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Blending
traditional Irish fiddle tunes with boisterous, foot-stomping drinking songs, the Reelers
harvest a sound that is both familiar and refreshingly new. The group’s fast paced reels
and heartwarming ballads create a festive atmosphere that inspire audiences to dance
and sing along.
The band, consists of Nikelle Garcia on fiddle, penny whistle, and vocals, David Garcia
on guitar, bouzouki and vocals, Casey Mraz on guitar, vocals and accordion, Justin
McLauchlin on bass, Dave Purcell on drums and Lars Olsen on the banjo.
With their infectious energy, captivating melodies, and unmistakable blend of Celtic
roots and Southwestern spirit, The Reelers are a not to be missed musical experience
